THE DOCTORS

C. Roy Knights DMD
Dr. Knights received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree in 1976 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia. He spent three years with the Air Force in Germany rotating through all the disciplines of dentistry under the guidance of specialists. Having grown up in the Upper Valley, he was pleased to return here to establish his practice in 1979. Dr. Knights enjoys many outdoor activities including hiking, biking, sailing, skiing, fishing, and traveling. He and his wife, Ellen, reside in Lyme, NH.

Mark Governo DMD
Dr. Governo received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree in 1994 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed a General Practice Residency Program at the Philadelphia’s Veteran’s Administration Hospital the following year. Dr. Governo is originally from Westport, MA, and has been practicing with Mascoma Dental Associates since 1999. He and his wife, Sarah with their two sons, enjoy the outdoor recreation offered by the Upper Valley.

George Petrescu-Boboc DDS
Dr. Boboc received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2003 from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. After receiving his degree, he was commissioned in the U.S. Navy where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency and two years of service overseas. Dr. Boboc moved to the Upper Valley in 2006 and joined Mascoma Dental Associates that summer. He and his wife Erin with their two children, enjoy the many outdoor activities and recreational opportunities afforded by this beautiful area. 

DENTAL HYGIENISTS

Mary
Mary received her degree in Dental Hygiene from the New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord, NH. She has worked with Dr. Knights since 1982 and loves her job. Mary lives in Orford, NH, with her husband Tim.

Kim
Kim graduated from the University of Vermont with an Associate degree in Dental Hygiene and Bachelors degree in Education. She has worked as a hygienist at Mascoma Dental Associates since 1986. Kim resides in Norwich with her husband Matt and children, Leah and Jake. She enjoys the outdoors: hiking with her three dogs, skiing, snowshoeing, and swimming.

Philana
Philana graduated from the New Hampshire Technical Institute in 2001 and has been working with Mascoma Dental Associates since receiving her degree in Dental Hygiene. She lives in Lebanon with her husband Scott.

Leslie
Leslie is a graduate of the University of Vermont and the Vermont Technical College Dental Hygiene Program. She lives in Orford, NH, with her fiancé, step-son, and dog, Gracy. Leslie enjoys the beauty of New England and all it has to offer. Gardening and hiking keep her busy summers, while skiing and snow shoeing fill the long winters. During the spring season, her time is dedicated to the Hanover Varsity Softball program as their head coach.

Deedee
DeeDee graduated from the New Hampshire Technical Institute in 2008 and joined the staff at Mascoma Dental Associates that year. Having been a patient at the practice for ten years, she now enjoys her career at MDA.
