Mascoma Dental’s Infection Control Program acts to virtually eliminate the risk of transmission of disease to you and your family in our office.

The procedures we use allow Mascoma Dental Associates to provide our patients with optimum infection control, meeting the standards and guidelines of the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the Occupational Safety and Health Agency (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the American Dental Association (ADA). Our Infection Control Program is in effect for each patient before, during and after treatment.

Sterilization by heat, pressure or liquid chemicals as indicated is used on all non-disposable instruments. Disposable supplies and instruments are used when ever practical and possible.

Laboratory infection control measures are observed in our own laboratory and by our outside dental laboratory services.
